Shouldn't be a problem.  The OS talks to the drive, so Networker doesn't
need to know the particulars.  This has worked in the past for lots of
other media type upgrades.

You can adjust the size estimates to whatever you want for each of your
devices (volume default capacity).

You may want to use a type different from the type used for your current
drives just to keep the tape types separate.  However, if you're
upgrading *all* your drives at once and you want them to be able to
access the old tapes, then that step isn't necessary.
