Hi Stan,

I see you are mailing at an 'external' address (@temple.edu) - did you try changing that to a normal system user (like root, or stan for example -
just watch out not to use a .forward'ed or aliased account)?

As you are receving the bootstrap reports, it *could* be possible that an overactive spam filter is eating your mail (of course, there may be other
problems but this one looks just too familiar...)

Thanks for your comments. I did a search yesterday of the PowerLink issues tracker and I found several hits for this problem. Unfortunately, none of those hits offered up a solution that works. Before I went home last night, I replaced the savegroup notification's action with a call to a script that writes the date and other info to a log file. That script was never invoked last night.

I guess the only solution is to restart the NetWorker daemons. Unfortunately, doing that is difficult for me because my backup server runs backups 24x7 so its something I do only once a month, and I just rebooted last week.
