7.3.3 FTW!

the rather slim advances past 7.3.3 were not worth the added issues that
7.4 delivered in my experience. I haven't looked at 7.4.1

With 7.2.2 being EOL'd in summer, we're starting to think about
upgrading out NW server. What is the next stable release? Is there one
that folks would recommend? Or does it vary based on the specifics of
the backup environment?

Here's more about our environment:

- NW server on v880 running Solaris 10

- NW storage node on e450 running Solaris 10

- 300-ish clients, including Windows, Solaris, Linux, VMware, VMS, MS
SQL, Exchange

- about 2.5TB backed up a night

- some staging to disk via advanced file-type device

Thanks!

Teresa
