How do you plan to feed the LTO-4 tapes enough data to keep them busy
without using staging?

We don't use any de-dupe, advanced file devices, cloning, or staging.

That may be why we don't have any issues. My plan is to stay that way
and move to LTO-4 tapes this year and avoid the complexities.

Matt I am planning this exact move. From v7.2.2. to v7.4.1 in Windows.

Do you use advanced file devices and did you see any issue with them in
the upgrade?

We just upgraded from 7.2.2 to 7.4.1 and including Oracle, Exchange,
SQL, and Centera modules. So far, so good. Now that 7.4.1 is out, I'd
recommend it instead of 7.3.3.

I was wondering if anyone has completed an upgrade from Networker Server
7.2 to 7.3.3. If so was there any major problems or anything I should
really look out for?? We only have an Exchange module. I completed this
upgrade in our test LAN with no problems at all but wanted to double
check.

Thanks

Craig
