Hi,

The owner of 20242686 is James kernaghan. I was provided a Solaris and a linux binary for this fix -- it hadn't happened on my Solaris server, but I was not told the code issue was in linux specific code.

Hi Frank,

Thank's for the tip, I now asked my supporter and he said the mentioned LGTsc is not relevant for us because it is another OS. (Linux insead of Solaris Sparc) However, it might be helpfull if You could find out the case-owner at emc-site. May be he could again fetch up Your posted call and look if this is even close to our behaviour.

Regards Thorsten

I found a semilar complain from Oscar Olsson "Rant about 7.3.3" some time ago, here at the forum, but no usefull answer. Any Clue?

I was having SIGSEGV problems with nsrmmd in 7.3.3 that have been eliminated by
replacing the nsrmmd binary with the jainso-2007-274 version (I am running
linux storage nodes with a solaris 9 server).

Tell your EMC technician to take a look at issue 20242686 (or LGTsc03497).
