Can I get more details on what issues you are having with savegrp hanging. What 
has support told you?

Boy, the more I hear from this list the more I'm glad we're still on
7.2.2.  I was planning an upgrade next spring but I'm not so sure now.

I have not heard any announcement of 7.4.1. I am hoping (but prepared to
be disappointed) that it will be an improvement on current offerings,
since I have recently found both 7.3.3 and 7.4 to be unusable in my
environment due to the number of savegrp hangs.

There has not been a version that I have been happy with since 7.2.x.
