Ben,

Check to see what the Restart Window attribute for your group is set to.
If it is less than the time since your group started (ie, if it was
18:00 yesterday and the restart window is only 12 hours), then you will
not be able to restart just the failed save sets.

Thanks,

-Jonthan

Stan,

Thanks for your reply. If I simply restart the group that contains the
client that has a failed saveset, then it seems to run the whole thing
again - all the clients in that group and all savesets in every client.
What I'm trying to find is a way to re-run only the failed savesets in
the failed client, not any others that are associated with a particular
group.
In this case, we're running an extra full backup every month for
off-site storage, which as you can imagine is pretty resource-intensive
in addition to our regular backup schedule, so when only 3 savesets in a
client with more than 15 savesets fail, I really would like to rerun
only the failed savesets in the failed client. Or is networker able to
do a full of the failed savesets and skip the ones that backed up
successfully? Am I just not thinking about this the right way?

thanks,
~ben
