In General , there are number of fixes that makes it worth while to look 
at 7.3.3  if  it's suitable to your environment, not to say it will fix 
everything, but it's more stable version in General.
Having said that, your cloning problem may be unrelated to networker 
version but may be due to san or driver\configuration, server patches 
issue, which should also investigated, either way more information is 
needed for your environment and setup.
