check the mminfo man page

you can check how many times a tape has recycled (been relabeled) as
well as the date of the original label:

 mminfo -r volume,recycled,olabel

or do a media report

 mminfo -m

which gives:
state volume written (%) expires read mounts
capacity

Subject: [Networker] Tape Age

Does anyone know a command or a report that networker has that I can use
to tell the age of my media. Management is asking that I identify how
old the tapes in the environment are and having inherited this
environment I don't have a easy way to tell the age of them currently.
