Dear All,
in one of my client installations
I have my networker backup storage server running linux, connexted
to the
storage (also linux) node via a cross-over cable.
the problem is whenever we need to do a restart of either of the two
servers, we must restart the other server otherwise they wont
communicate.
(NB. i am running Version: NetWorker 7.3.2.Build.364 Network
Edition/100)
the most interesting thing is that in this client installation
whenever we
have problems with the backups the only thing that works is if we
restart. i
am trying to find out why.
hence we restart the servers. and this happens often, twice in a
month etc.
Are the servers set up to do system logging via syslog? If so, check
the log files on the servers to see what they say during and after
the restart.
