... and I can't seem to figure out why.
(bear with me, please - I'm new to NetWorker)
We have a job that is a cloning job, from one of our development servers.
It has stopped working in the last couple days.

Now, we did have a problem where some of our NetWorker NT CLient licenses
expired, but I corrected that yesterday by re-authorizing them. I thought
that was what was causing the failure. But daemon.log on the target server
says:
09/25/07 08:43:00 nsrexecd: Impersonation was requested by:
"administrator AT nw-server.mydomain DOT com", but the user does not have
enough
privileges to impersonate.
09/25/07 15:05:06 nsrmmd #4: Lost connection to Media DatabaseRPC Failure:
RPC receive operation failed. A network connection could not be
established with the host.; errno = Connection reset by peer
09/25/07 15:05:11 nsrexecd: Authentication Warning: The user's OS groups
cannot be verified and will not be included in the credential. This means
that remote hosts may not see the user as being a member of any OS groups.
Domain: NT AUTHORITY, User: SYSTEM.
(I'm presuming the above were caused by the lack of a valid license, which
I corrected on 2007-09-26)
09/25/07 15:25:29 nsrmmd #4: Start nsrmmd #4, with PID 9832, at HOST
admndev001.mydomain.com
09/25/07 15:25:33 nsrmmd #16: Start nsrmmd #16, with PID 9072, at HOST
admndev001.mydomain.com
09/27/07 10:23:12 nsrmmd #4: Start nsrmmd #4, with PID 512, at HOST
admndev001.mydomain.com
09/27/07 10:23:12 nsrmmd #16: Start nsrmmd #16, with PID 8936, at HOST
admndev001.mydomain.com
Where to look next? Ordinarily, I would look into scheduling a reboot of
this target server, to force a re-establishment of the connection. I've
verified that there is plenty of disk space available.
All NetWorker clients and the backup server are Windows servers, BTW. NW
version on the host server is 7.3.2.jumbo
Thanks for any pointers or clues.
