I just discovered that. I just disable all my JREs above 1.4.2 and it
started working.

Thanks!

It works. I'd put money on you having Java 1.6 installed. Uninstall
Java 1.6 (all flavors) and go back to Java 1.5 and you should be good to
go.

We use NMC 7.4 to manage our 7.1.4 server with no issues. However, we
accidentally instally Java 1.6 on our backup management console from
time to time which produces the error you're seeing.

[Networker] NMC on older version

Hey Guys,

I thought I read in a post that you can use the NMC of 7.3.x and above
against a 7.2 server. Is that true?

I've been trying to get it to work, but I keep getting an "Unable to
launch the application" error after the login screen.

The first time I run it after an install I get the wizard screens to
setup the server as stuff but after that I get this error.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Joel
