In regard to: [Networker] Client Priority Backup, chek col said (at 8:03am...:

I have about 2K clients I need to change the client level to different
priority when they backup, is there an easy way in trying to accomplish
this besides going into each client and doing manually.

You want to look at using nsradmin in a script. There are lots and lots
of examples of this in the archives for this list. Many of them assume
that a UNIX or Linux-based NetWorker server is being used, so they show
scripts using a Bourne shell or derivative or perl for the wrapper around
nsradmin.

I would search the archives for "nsradmin update" and then start looking
at the matches. That should give you a good place to start. If you have
a file with the client names and the new Priority: setting in it or
something similar (e.g. the same info a database), you should be able to
automate the process with a dozen lines of UNIX shell code.
