Make an incremental backup not a full this will backup and then purge the
archive logs.
This has always worked in sql 2000.

Subject: [Networker] SQL Server Transaction Log Backups during a Full Online
DB Backup
Hi, All.
I have recently been told that SQL Server - at least SQL Server 2005 -
has the capability to
backup its transaction logs during a full SQL Server online backup.
However, we have not
been able to make this work with nsrsqlsv.
First, does SQL Server have this capability?
Secondly, does Networker's SQL Server module implement this capability?
Thanks.
Jon
