I have been backing up Mac's for a long time now, using Networker. I really
like it. Yes, it's CLI only but it's fast and I have been able to restore
entire disks w/o any issues. Yes, I wish there was a GUI for it but I'm not
holding my breath. I'm just waiting for the X86 support now ... I was told that
it would be ready in June. Well June has come and gone and no client, I just
read on the list it's now July/August, I hope so.

I am interested in learning more about backing up Mac clients. I did not
think there was a GUI on the Mac. In otherwords, while it can easily be
backed up, the restoration process was all command line.
We are running 7.2.2 on an AIX box, and would love to add a Mac backup.

There should be a compatible 7.4. version, but I haven't checked yet.
I can definitely tell you that 7.2.2 (not 7.2.1) works fine, although
its not supported. I am running it daily on my MacPro workstation and it
works fine; I can back up and recover files without issue.
