[Networker] media db error?

Hi,
we run NW 7.3.2. In the Java GUI, I see a volume 000424 with barcode 000424 in slot 145. When I ask the mediadb directly, I get: 

# mminfo -q volume=000424 -r volume,barcode
 volume        barcode
000424         000405
What is wrong here? When I ask the JB directly with sjirdtag, it reports the barcode 000424. An inventory did not help.
