Is anybody using the Diskbackup option in an AIX environment?

I as looking for some basic information on how to setup a device, and
stage the backup to a clone tape, etc.

The documentation that I have been looking at is not easy to follow, and
they do not give real-world examples on how to correctly setup and
manage diskbackups.

Any insight or direction would be appreciated.
