My advise would be install it on the unix/linux if possible, not on the
windows one
Why you ask. Well because of two reasons
First our experience after working with both configurations is that
unix/linux is way more reliable
But the second reason is more simple
You start your real nmc console in your browser. We found that the further
away you install your nmc core software the worse the performance gets.
In windows xp in ie just type http://nameofunixserver:9000 and you will get
your nmc console and no acces issue.
