Hello,
Please refer to cmd line help on savepnpc & Save, client initiated backup
can take couple of different approches, i.e running a bat file withen
Networker client defination or starting savegrp with -c ( client )
argument from the client side.
You may need to allow client initiated backup in server's config ( Manual
save in setup Tab)
Any of the unix admins on the forum can give you a sample script for Unix
client, here are some starters for Windows.
savegrp -r2 -v -l FULL -e "year" -G Default >
D:\Scripts\LOGS\Backup_Groups_Logs\DefaultME.txt 2>&1

++++++
savegrp -r2 -v -l incr -e "month" -G TEST >
D:\Scripts\LOGS\Backup_Groups_Logs\TESTD.txt 2>&1

You can change or add any options you like after consulting the man pages,
there is comprehensive savepnpc info on manpage\elsewhere which may be
more suited for what you are asking.
