Diwakar,
Restore and recovery have to be launched from the client side. It does
not make sense to schedule a restore.
For performance issue, there is lot of options, you can allocate more
channels on your rman scripts and use more tape devices in parallel. You
can also tune the rman scripts (number of file per set, channel maxsize
etc.. there are a lot of parameters you can set, refer to the rman
documentation for more details).

Abdellatif

Thanks All and Abdellatif,
It is working fine oracle backup.
Could you tell me that can we do recovery like same as we did for
backup?
I need to changes the script only. Or I want to fire a recovery process
from
NetWorker Server. Or we have to do from Client only. I can see that it
takes
30 min to backup around 18GB data over IP, Is it good performance. If
not
please tell me how to improve the performance.
Regards,
Diwakar

Diwakar,
You have to put the nsrnmo_simDB script in the same directory as save
(/usr/sbin if you are running Solaris /opt/networker/bin if HPUX).
The backup command has to be set to nsrnmo_simDB and the save set has to
be the full path to the rman script
(/export/home/oracle/rman_script_name).

Abdellatif

Do you mean I have put the command: /export/home/oracle/nsr_simDB
Or save:/export/home/oracle/nsr_simDB.
nsr_simDB is my command file.
Because when I give this /export/home/oracle/nsr_simDB
Give error that "Command must begin with prefix Save or nsr"
Thanks
Diwakar

Any backup command configured in the backup command field of the client
resource must reside in the same directory as the save command and the
file name must begin with save or nsr.
