It may be slower, but IMHO deleting the jukebox resource and running
jbconfig is by far the cleanest and safest way to upgrade, you can give
it to your junior sysadmin to do the job. Just don't forget to turn auto
media management back on if you use it.
To make the process go as quickly as possible you can withdraw all the
blank or unregistered tapes in the library before starting the upgrade.

Subject: [Networker] expanding a library
We have a Scalar 10K that we need to expand. We've received the key to
add additional slots, but I trying to plan for the work that I'll need
to do within NetWorker. If my slot count increases by 100 slots, can I
just update the NetWorker jukebox definition? Or do I need to delete
and redefine the jukebox? Also, if I can update the definition, how do
I do that? Can I use the GUI (v7.2.2 on Solaris)?
Thanks.
Teresa
