I suspect the delayed start of incremental backups is normal behavior. When
you do a full, NetWorker knows it has to back up everything so the tape
writes start as soon as an eligible tape is mounted. When you do an
incremental or differential, NetWorker has to "walk" the file systems to
determine what to back up. That probably accounts for the five minutes or so
before tape writing begins.

Eventually one of the tape devices has allocated all 6 target sessions so it
moves onto the next tape device. This is why there could be three jobs
running on one tape device and then it will start two jobs on the next tape
