We're using the NMSybase 2.5 and running Networker server and client
v7.2.2 all on Solaris 9.

Up until now, we didn't care about transaction log dumps as we had no
room to keep them on the Sybase server so we did a standard full backup
every night of all Sybase DB's. Now we have migrated to a new Sybase
Server with elbow room so for a few of the DB's we'd like to do point in
time recovery.

The DBA has set "trunc log on checkpoint" option to off on these few
DB's and periodically, Sybase is now dumping logs to the backup server
when they reach a certain threshold. This is happening randomly and I'd
like to make it more of a non-random thing and have Networker control
when these log dumps occur preferably being run with our nightly
scheduled backups.

>>From what we can tell, a full backup does not dump the logs and clean
them off the Sybase server using a standard nsrsyb script with no
special options set. An incremental backup only dumps logs and then it
does clean them off the Sybase server. How can we get a full backup run
from a scheduled Networker backup to dump the data and then perform the
same action as the incremental? Is there a setting we can put into the
nsrsyb script? 

Excuse me if some of these terms are not exact as I'm not a DBA. (Thank
goodness!)
