Hello,
I recently upgraded from Drapper Drake (6.06) to Edgy Eft (6.10) on my
dual core Opteron personal workstation.

I previously had a x86_64 lgtoclnt running fine installed via alien

Have had no luck getting it to work with Edgy. Should I be able to get
this to work if I try hard enough???

Here is a summary of what I have done to date, the problems show up at
the bottom of this exposition ....

 uname -a
Linux lxmv10 2.6.17-10-generic #2 SMP Fri Oct 13 15:34:39 UTC 2006
x86_64 GNU/Linux

<<< here are the various clients I have downloaded to play with>>

lgtoclnt-7.3.2-1.x86_64.rpm
lgtoclnt_nw_7_2_LGTpa69733-2_i386.deb

<<began install>>
cgtaylor@lxmv10:~/Desktop/legato_clients$ sudo alien --to-deb --scripts
lgtoclnt-7.3.2-1.x86_64.rpm

<< next step, the S95 stuff shouldn't be a problem>>
cgtaylor@lxmv10:~/Desktop/legato_clients$ sudo dpkg --install
