Use command line, jbconfig. I understand that the installation guide
steps through the NMC interface for device discovery, however, you will
get better control and information via the command line.

Subject: [Networker] NW 7.3.2 ACSLS silo connectivity issue
Hopefully this is a simple question, but it has me stumped.
I
have a brand new Networker 7.3.2 environment setup on Solaris 10. I am
trying to connect to an ACSLS 7.1 controlled SL500. I know that the
ACSLS server and the SL500 are working, but networker will not connect
to them. I have been trying to use the nmc to connect up the
silo. When I enter the hostname of the ACSLS host, give it a library
name, and click the Test Silo Controller Connectivity, I get the
following error:
Silo Controller connectivity failed.
Monitor log says:
Ending dvdetect process for silo connectivity test on host 'XXXXXX' with
error...
STL_VERIFY_SILO_CONNECT failed. Controller: acslshost. Err returned: 2
Thoughts? Thanks in advance...
