Well how strange! I have just tried this on 7.2.1 and it does appear to
work. I am fairly sure that last time I tried this (on an earlier
version) it did not work properly, but "full -1 Friday every month" did
work.
Also note that at much earlier versions of NetWorker this syntax was not
supported and many of the supplied schedules were broken by design. The
overrides for specific dates were coded in to nsr.res at installation
time, and the overrides would expire after a number of years.
