We had the same thing for the personal mail boxes. All we did was drag
the recovered e-mail into the live inbox and all seemed fine. I can not
speak on the contacts but I imagine it could be handled in the same
manner. Hope this helps

Subject: [Networker] Problem with Public Folder restore

Hi,

We are trying to do a restore of contact information to a public folder
on our recovery server in our recovery domain. The recovery completes
without any issues and the data base mounts without any problems. The
problem we see is when we look at the recovered data. The contact
information is no longer in contact form - it gets restored as a mail
item, not a contact. Also, the domain names for the users have been
changed to USER@RecoveryDomain, so they lose the original domain
information that was stored with that contact.

Has anyone else seen anything like this? How did you resolve it?

The Exchange server is Exchange 2003 SP2 running on a Windows 2003
server SP1. The Exchange module version is v4.0.2.372.

Thanks.

Teresa
