Since the recover actually started there should not be an alias problem
here. Are you sure that the destination has enough space for the file.
Can you change the destination? Can you try nd recover some other small
file?

(7.3)

Networker 7.3 server is unix (solaris 8).
A windows client (also running 7.3) backups fine.
On recover, using recover command line or the gui from the client,
starts recovering a 6gb file but hangs for hours at 12KB and has to be
killed.
nsrwatch does not show any activity.

The client name in the nsr configuration is file01-bkup.
On the client gui recover message shows:
Recovering client 'file01-bkup' on server 'backup-server' to 'file01'

The name file01, as well as fully qualified active directory names of
the client are included in the alias list and Remote Access list for the
client file01-bkup on the server.

Thank you
