Aren't you concerned about having a client's scheduled backup start while the unscheduled backup is in progress? On some platforms, this has little impact in performance, but on a heavily loaded Windows server with many frequently changing files, two backups running simultaneously can cause a substantial decrease in performance of whatever apps that client runs.
