Can't help on the savegrp but the RAP error is a known bug in 7.1.? ..fixed
in version 7.???.

The RAP seems to be caused by the alias list (cached in Networker?) getting
corrupted.  One fix is to delete all the aliases of the client definition,
save it, then add back all the same aliases.  Another fix, as mentioned, is
to delete the entire client definition, and recreate it.  Shutting down
Networker would be option number 3.
