Right now, one of our biggest problems is having nsrauth in place. When
it is in place, nsrexecd is almost certain to die. However, nsrexecd
dies or the GUI hangs without it in place.

As far back as 1998 Legato had both dedicated Windows and dedicated
Java programmers. There is actually quite a bit of Windows and java
experience there. The only gui that was written by the client/server
engineers was the original X windows gui (well, and nsradmin, my
favorite).
7.3 apparently reflects a re-structuring of a lot of things along
with a new GUI. So, yes, it will take some time to settle out. But
it's not because C programmers are suddenly trying to write java.
