I would like to thank every one for their input.

Here is the lession learned:

Prior to the DR test, we made shure that the NetWorker server had all
the correct information about the DR server in the host file. On the DR
test server we made sure it has all the correct information in it's host
file, too.

The DR test has to be done in two stages:

First restore all the necessary files. When that is complete, you need
to update the restored host file (we do not use host files in
production). 

Second, run the system restore part of the recover.

When you re-boot the server, it will be joined to the domain as was the
original server, and everything should work as before.

And if that is all up and running, you could go for and isolated
recovery network and for testing purposes prepare a AD server on the
live LAN and after it's synced move it to the DR LAN. That's the way we
test it.
