Greets.

My environment is Networker 7.3 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 for both the server and the clients and a 3 month browse + retention policy. I did a full backup recently to freshly erased tapes. Prior to this backup, the tapes had no data on them and the clients being backed up had no entries in the indexes. I ran nsrim to verify this and it showed no savesets.

After backing up, mminfo -m shows the following:

state volume written (%) expires read mounts capacity ANG699L1 248 GB full 08/31/2006 0 KB 6 190 GB ANG700L1 251 GB full 08/30/2006 0 KB 6 190 GB ANG701L1 222 GB full 08/30/2006 0 KB 5 190 GB ANG702L1 283 GB full undef 0 KB 6 190 GB ANG703L1 219 GB full 08/31/2006 0 KB 6 190 GB ANG704L1 214 GB full 08/31/2006 0 KB 6 190 GB ANG705L1 212 GB full undef 0 KB 5 190 GB ANG706L1 212 GB full undef 0 KB 6 190 GB ANG707L1 129 GB 68% undef 0 KB 34 190 GB ANG708L1 214 GB full 08/31/2006 0 KB 14 190 GB ANG709L1 311 MB 0.1% 08/31/2006 0 KB 41 190 GB

It seems odd to me that the expires column would be 'undef' for several of these tapes as they all should have savesets on them from the full backup cycle.

Can someone give me some hints as to what I should be looking at to see why these tapes have no expires date?
