Try loading the volume with out mounting (nsrjb -nl -S xx) and overwrite the
first block with other data line tar dd or ntbackup then unload and label
the volume from NetWorker.

Betreff: Re: [Networker] Removing a barcode from a volume listing?

I set 'Bar code reader' to 'Yes' for the jukebox and re-inventoried the
tape. It still reports it with the old bar code. I even exported the
tape from the jukebox, inventoried the empty slot, re-imported and
re-inventoried. Same problem. Legato just seems to have it in its mind
that the old bar code is there to stay; unless, of course, I can get an
actual bar code that matches the real label.
