Hello,
That is normal, if you have done mmrecov, networker would know the media
dB and will know about the tape being scanned, if you want to kick it out
of the dB you would have to remove the volume and it's index from volumes
tab( not sure why would you want to do it), the only time i do that is
when i am relabeling tape and it finds a duplicate.
If you are recovering a client then you need to do nsrck -L7 client name.
This will let you recover the client without having to scan in the tape.
You can also do a saveset recover if the client indexes have not been
populated.
