We've been running 7.2.2 for a couple of weeks without any problems.

We are running Solstice backup software 6.1.4 on a Solaris 9 machine.
We would like to upgrade the server to 7.3. From the documentation it is
clear that we need to buy enabler code for backup server (Networker,
Turbo/10). But I wanted to confirm that we do not need to buy enablers for
the any other paks we are using. We are using Autochanger Modules and
ClientPak for PC Desktops/Macintosh/Linux and a few Client connections
Pak.
7.2.1 is a good version....
I would advise you to try out 7.3 on a test machine for a while. The new GUI
is totally different, make sure that you can make it work an that it will do
what you want before you commit your production system to 7.3.
On the licensing issue - surely you don't need to buy a new server enabler?
You must already have one that will work. You will need an update enabler but
this is free if you have a support contract. There are a few traps where 7.x
enforces licensing for features that should have been licensed but may not
have been.
