Hello,
I dont know of any way to avoid filling up the file system while maintaing 
recoverabilty for 7 days, staging policy could free up the disk space 
autumatically, if it is ebabled.
There is no subsitute for underallocating the disk space without 
consequences, the only way to maximize your disk spance is compress it 
before creating ADV File system on it.
