I'm writing a program that needs to be triggered when a backup

monitor
the output message to get realtime notification when a backup kicks
off.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
You could set up something like Big Brother or Big Sister to monitor
individual clients. Either one would allow you to place an agent on
each client and simply monitor it for the start of the save process.
Another way might be to place something in the backup command field
for each client resource you want to monitor that first triggers a
notification and then triggers the appropriate backup command.
I am sure there are other approaches too, but those are the two that
come to mind. Its an interesting question.
