Hi,

Can 'nsrck -L7' be used to recover a client file index from a file type device?

Alternatively, if you manually copied the client index (tar) from the old server to the new server and put it in /nsr/index then would that work, too, or would the client not show up in the client listing? In our case, both the old and new servers run Solaris.

Is there a faster way than recovering one client at a time with 'nsrck -L7'? Or is it recommended to recover one at time?

I assume if backing up all the client indexes using 'savegroup -O group' so we can recover them on the other server then we'd want to specify '-l full', of course, correct?

Thanks.

George
