By type of NDMP setup I mean, the connectivity architecture. Type of
connectivity between the filer, backup server and the tape device(s).

I agree with Stan. I'm not sure if you can recover NDMP savesets from a
non-NDMP device.

What type of NDMP setup is yours? What NetWorker version?

- Networker Version 7.3.2. Not sure what you mean NDMP setup.

If you are doing a directed restore, make sure you have the permissions
to write the restored data on it. You may also consider checking the
NDMP logs on the filer or running nsrd in debug mode (say D5 or D9 even)
to get more information during nsndmp_recover.

- I ran recover two times and on each occasion directed the restore to
different directory. In both cases the file was not restored. I selected
the file (add + filename, relocate and recover) but it was never
restored. Not sure the restore procedure forNDMP is diferent or not.
