Actually, for a high Density File System (millions of small files) then you can 
also consider SnapImage. However, I'd recommend only using SNapImage with disk 
to disk backup.

VSS is built into Windows 2003 (but you need a Legato license), and is
your best bet in that environment. If you are running Windows 2000 and
earlier OFM is the only Legato choice.
