In short, root causes may come from differents ways. I would say : start first
a client initiated backup in verbose mode to see where/when the hang occurs.
It may be a volume/directory/file corruption, too much CPU ressources, .....

Hello All,


Anyone found a fix, solution or workaround on this problem yet?
w2K servers just stopped backing up, stopped nsrexecd, re-install the client 
software, re-start nsrexecd and still not working, even a client initiated 
backup won't work. The only solution so far is to re-start the server itself.
There is not even an error message to work on to get a possible resolution or 
explanation as to why this happens.
