[Networker] v7.1.4 Start up messages
2006-02-15 12:06:44
Hi all,
I just upgraded to v7.1.4. In the daemon.log, I see the following:
nsrd: @(#) Product: NetWorker
nsrd: @(#) Release: 7.1.4.Build.577
nsrd: @(#) Build number: 577
nsrd: @(#) Build date: Wed Dec 14 19:11:43 2005
nsrd: @(#) Build arch.: solaris7w
nsrd: @(#) Build info: DBG=0,OPT=-O2 -fno-strict-aliasing
I'm concerned about the last line. In our old installation this was:
nsrd: @(#) Build info: DBG=0,OPT=-O
Why is the "OPT" different and what's the "-f" part doing/telling me?
Thanks.
Teresa
