Good afternoon to all,

We are having some tape read error issues/problems and according to ADIC we
have to load the tape driver module from IBM.
My Legato server is on Red Hat ES3 v2.4.21-37.0.1.ELsmp O/S and I have an ADIC
Scalar 100 with 2xIBM LTO-2 tape drives. According to Red Hat support the
kernel doesn't have native support on this type of tape drives so I have to
load the driver from IBM. The issue with the driver is that it is compiled for
this kernel version only and when I boot up on newer kernels from Red Hat the
driver won't load.
If anyone is also using the same tape drive I have with the same O/S, are you
indeed using the tape drivers from IBM?

TIA,
