[Networker] Networker 7.2, using DDS in an ACSLS environment
2006-01-25 16:17:09
We have completed the install and configuration of
acsls. The install from the acsls side looks good, we
can manipulate tapes in and out of drives, eject
tapes, etc...
We have completed running jbconfig to add the acsls
library as a STL device and configured all storage
nodes with the acsls device names.
We were able to label some tapes, but the library is
acting up a little. When labeling a tape, it is going
to a DDS (shared device) rather than a local one on
the Networker server. When running a backup on a
storage node, it tried to mount a tape on the
Networker server rather than the local device.
Should networker behave as described in the paragraph
above.
Thanks
