Hi Kathleen
You'll need to go to the IBM website, and download and install the drivers
for the IBM LTO3 drives.
NOTE: if you use the 6.1.0.9 (or newer) driver, make sure you do NOT install
the driver in the usual way (through Device Manager); it will not work.
Instead, read and follow the instructions that come with the driver, which
include using a batch file that comes with the driver to install it. Also,
be aware that this new driver comes with a very cool feature (path failover)
automatically enabled; you must disable this (using the Registry files,
supplied with the driver), if you have not paid for the feature and
purchased the 'feature code' to enable it.
I spent several days flailing around before I learned all this; feel free to
ask my questions about it.
Hope this helps
