OOPS! Corrected that and it is dumping. Not ideal, but it works.

Did you mean "2>&1" instead of "2&1>"?

Since I will apparently have to kick this off from the client, I am
trying to attempt to setup notification or logging. Running this
command from the client doesn't put anything in the clients daemon.log
or networkr.log, or the networker servers daemon.log nor does it put
anything in the event log. I've attempted re-directing the output with
">> output_file.log" and it doesn't put anything in the file. I also
tried "2&1> output_file.log" and it gives me a syntax error for the
nsrarchive command. Is there anything else I can use to put a success
or failure somewhere. How can EMC/Legato not think this is important.

Like everything in NetWorker, it can do it, just not well (JMHO).

Cheers,
Jim

I have just started playing around with the Archiving module and it
seems it will meet my needs EXCEPT for the fact you can't run it on a
repeating schedule (i.e. nightly). Yes, I can schedule it on the client
via command line, but that sucks pretty bad. Is there a way that might
not be apparent to kick this off from the networker server for a client
on a repeating basis?

Cheers,
Jim
