I have over 50 sites worldwide, some with numerous servers, some with
only one.

For the single server sites, we have Legato installed on the file/print
server with an internal tape drive, but it is a pain.

We are investigating using WAFS (Wide Area File System) to replace them.
Don't ask me how it works, but there you are. Looks promising.

I every one,

I am in the process to install a backup solution for 15 remote site. I
would like to ask the group, what they are doing for thiers remotes
sites backup. Almost all my remotes sites have a 10MB link with us. We
have to install new server in each site. We scale a maximum of 300GB of
data per site with 5% of data movement per day. We estime a stadart
backup solution with a Networker licence/tape backup/cartrige at 10K$.
So we have at 150K$ to spend.

Can we do better with that 150K$? We love to remove the backup from the
user hands and make them centraly. Saddly, we have to choose the
solution rapidly, so not much time to test.

I am looking for your reply.
