you dont have to bring up the server to edit resources, but you have to
use the cmdline admin program...

nsradmin -d   {nsrdbpath}

on unix thats normally /nsr/res/nsrdb but it sounds like your
system is windows so it might be c:\Program
Files\Legato\nsr\res\nsrdb... so you could go in and delete all the
enablers that way.

i think it's quite possible networker wont start because the nic is
down.... try plugging it into a separate network or vlan, or a little
netgear switch or something like that.... if that does not work it may
be to do with name resolution not being available.... there is
probably some messages in daemon.log about the problem... c:\Program
Files\Legato\nsr\logs\daemon.log or C:\Program Files\nsr\logs\daemon.log
usually.

I'm trying to do something, and I'm wondering if it can even be done.

I'm working on my server that has been down for 3 months, and Legato
won't start (service fails to start). No error message, just an event
in the event log that says service stopped.

I don't have it plugged in to the network, and I'm wondering if that is
the problem? Can you have a Networker server run without being plugged
into the network?

I don't want to bring it online until I can change the name of the
server, and changed the enabler, as it is a duplicate.

I'm going to call Legato on Monday, just wondering is someone had any
ideas.

Thanks.
