Hi Lars,

If you want to use a given IP from client, I think you should enter the IP
as Client Aliases.

If you want specific IP of backup server, you should enter the same in the
Server Network Interface.

 How do I tell Legato to use a backup client's private IP interface?

 Any attempt to set up the client using the hostname of that interface

 lets backups fail in interesting ways:

* host-backup:/disk1 1 retry attempted

* host-backup:/disk1 save: RAP error: Unable to extract resource info for
client host.

* host-backup:/disk1 save: Cannot open save session with srvr

* host-backup:/disk1 1 retry attempted

* host-backup:/disk1 save: SYSTEM error: client `host' is not properly
configured on the NetWorker Server

* host-backup:/disk1 save: Cannot open save session with srvr

 Linux Networker 7.2.1 Build.311.
